For the delight of skiers and lovers of the snow, the Hotel Fanes has a bus-stop on the free Ski-bus route which directly connects it to all the skiing centres of the Val di Fassa and the surrounding areas, including Alpe Lusia, San Pellegrino-Falcade, Sella Ronda, Latemar-Obereggen, Ciampedie. The "Dolomiti Superski" (Dolomites Super-skiing), the largest skiing area in the world: over 1,180 km. of slopes, over 460 ultra modern ski lifts, the "Sella Ronda" circuit, the "Ski tour dell'amore" in the Tre Valli area in Moena, heli-skiing on Marmolada, the famous "Marcialonga" cross-country skiing competition, with many other opportunities for cross-country skiers and hikers. Not to mention a limitless choice of après-ski entertainment.
